Week 2: Top 5 plays
JACKSON, Tenn — At play number five, Mckenzie’s Zach Jarrett drops back and finds his teammate Tyler Spivey, who gets behind the defender and races 90 yards for a Rebel touchdown. Mckenzie takes down West Carroll 36-0.
Play 4, Riverside’s Drake Smith is picked off by Lexington’s Myles Peoples who returns it for a pick six. Tigers maul the Panthers, 44-9.
In at three, TCA’s Brock Sizemore throws to his running back Viktor Horton, who makes five Bruins miss and runs in for a Lion touchdown. But USJ wins big, 42-7.
At number two, USJ’s Jacob Buie drops back and finds Ryan Miller across the middle and he runs over two Lions and goes in for a touchdown. Lions fall though, 42-7.
The number one play of the week, Haywood’s Tillman McCrae hands off to Decourtney Reed who makes multiple defenders miss and sprints ahead for a Tomcat touchdown. Haywood survives a close against Marion, IL 35-34.
