Suspects in fatal student shooting plead not guilty
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Two men have pleaded not guilty to fatally shooting a 19-year-old after a dice game at Tennessee State University last year.
The Tennessean (http://tnne.ws/2bJMlrh ) reports that on Wednesday, 20-year-old Robert Tunstall and 20-year-old Chris Gatewood entered not guilty pleas to charges including murder, attempted murder and aggravated assault.
Police say the two opened fire at a group after a dice game at Tennessee State University in October. Police say the gunshots killed Southwest Tennessee Community College student Cameron Selmon and wounded three others.
Tunstall and Gatewood were indicted in August and arrested in Memphis.
