Weather Update: 12:30 PM Friday
Currently it’s a clear and cool start to the day! Temps are mainly in the low 70s. Temps are up to 5 degrees cooler this morning than they were yesterday at this same time. We’ll keep the cooler weather this afternoon as well.
Friday looks to reach only into the low to m id 80s across the area (slightly cooler than yesterday) with breezy conditions out of the north. Winds are forecast to be between 10 and 15 mph so gusts up to 20 mph are possible. Clear skies continue all day today and into the overnight hours as well.
Tonight temps fall back into the low 60s! Very likely that more locations hit the upper 50s tonight too. If you have plans to head out to a football game or down to the AMP for some free live music, you might want to pack a light jacket. Once the sun sets, it’ll be back on the chilly side.
The nice conditions stick around going into the long weekend. Though, temps do slowly start to climb back toward the 90 degree mark by Monday. The humidity also starts to return and we have slight chances for showers returning by early to midweek next week.
