Couple charged with having stolen gun, drugs in local park

JACKSON, Tenn. — A couple is arrested on charges of having a stolen gun and drugs in a local park.

Court papers say Kyiandra and Kevin George were in Muse Park Thursday where officers found Kevin asleep under a tent with marijuana and a handgun.

They say his wife came to the park and claimed she owned the gun. However, records show the gun had been stolen out of Michigan.

Each is charged with possession of stolen property and drug possession.
