Brother charged in former Hattiesburg teacher’s death
HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) – Police says the brother of a former Hattiesburg school teacher found dead on Sept. 3 has been charged with her murder.
Police Lt. Jon Traxler tells The Hattiesburg American officers arrested 55-year-old Gus Georgian, of Petal, on Tuesday. He is being held in the Forrest County Jail awaiting an initial court appearance.
The county coroner has not released the cause of Ann Georgian’s death.
Online jail records do not list an attorney for Gus Georgian.
