Weather Update – 10:00 p.m. Wednesday

Mainly dry conditions and mostly clear skies are forecast tonight but there’s a slight possibility for patchy fog overnight into early Thursday morning. Low temperatures will bottom out in the upper 60s and lower 70s tomorrow morning. Scattered clouds and isolated showers continue across West Tennessee this afternoon with today being our 9th day so far this September of reaching 90°F or higher.

THURSDAY
Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies will return Thursday. There’s a chance for more scattered showers and thunderstorms tomorrow from the later hours of the morning through the afternoon and early evening. Most of West Tennessee will be dry – only a small portion of the area will get rain tomorrow. High temperatures could reach the upper 80s and lower 90s again tomorrow afternoon with a few areas potentially squeezing out reading in the middle 90s.

FRIDAY AND THE WEEKEND
The chance for rain continues with a cold front coming into the northern portions of the Mid-South on Friday and Saturday. The chance for rain will likely increase as the cold front comes closer to the region with our best chance for rain currently expected to occur between Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon. Stay with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team for the latest updates to the forecast!

Have a good evening!
