30th Blue Suede Dinner & Auction set for February 24

JACKSON, Tenn. – An annual event is returning to the Hub City to bring a night of paradise to the Jackson Carl Perkins Civic Center.

30th Blue Suede

The Blue Suede Party returns for its 30th year on Saturday, February 24.

This is a fun fundraising event for the Exchange Club of the Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.

This year’s theme is beach and guests are encouraged to wear beach attire.

The A1A band will be this year’s performers. They had the pleasure of performing with Jimmy Buffett.

This year’s surprise elements include the beach party on the balcony and pirates will make their blimey appearance.

“The money goes towards [benefiting] the children who have been physically and sexually abused in West Tennessee. And, you know, you can come and have a good time and spend lots of money and know that you’re making a difference in the life of children who really need our help,” said Pam Nash, the President & CEO of the Exchange Club for Carl Perkins Center.

Tickets can be bought online at their website or called in. Event coordinators have shared that tickets are selling fast.
