Medina police make arrests in auto break-ins
GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — Police in Medina believe they’ve caught the people responsible for a string of car break-ins throughout the city, all thanks to some observant citizens.
On Thursday, Police arrested Javonya Long, Jamarian Jordan, Keenan Murphy and a juvenile, all from Jackson.
Police say they were tipped off by a motorist who reported a vehicle matching a description of the one wanted in connection to the recent auto burglaries. The description was provided by numerous eyewitnesses, and the vehicle had also been captured on surveillance cameras.
Officers say when they stopped them, they found two stolen guns from Chester County in their car.
Each of the three adults is charged with seven counts including burglary and felony theft.
