Weather Update: 9:30 PM Saturday

Temps have been slow to warm up today because of the cold front bringing us some rain and the thick cloud deck that remains behind the front. Scattered showers are continuing to pulse behind and along the front but the majority of West Tennessee is under calm but cloudy conditions. Temps are in the upper 70s to low 80s and won’t warm up too much more today.

Tonight temps look to fall into the mid 60s with the clouds lingering as well as that chance for some isolated rain showers overnight. The clouds will start to break up as we head into the early morning hours, and with calm conditions starting Sunday, we could see some dense fog in parts of West Tennessee.

Sunday afternoon will be a warmer day than today but there is still a slight chance for some showers to move through again. The most rain shower activity looks to stay south of I-40 throughout the afternoon. Afternoon highs reach back into the low to mid 80s and drier weather does move in to West Tennessee to start the workweek.

By Monday, we’ll see a streak of hot and humid weather conditions under mostly clear skies set up through the week. We don’t see the next chance for rain set up until week head into the end of the week and into next weekend.
