Tickets available for ‘Go Red for Your Heart and Soul Luncheon’

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Chapter of the Top Ladies of Distinction presents their Lady Annie Ruth Rogers Go Red for Your Heart and Soul Luncheon.

The luncheon, which started in 2009, exists for fellowship and awareness concerning heart health.

There will be a heart doctor as a guest speaker and stories from heart health survivors.

There will also be a jazz quartet from Lane College doing music, healthy and delicious food, and a silent auction.

February is American Heart Month and National Wear Red Day is February 2.

And red is also encouraged to be worn to the luncheon.

“There’s nothing like looking standing on the stage and looking out and seeing that sea of red because we encourage everybody to wear red. And it is just a beautiful sight because we know we are bringing awareness to a very important issue,” said Kimberly Jones, the Chairman of the Go Red for the Heart and Soul Luncheon Committee.

Men are invited to attend as well. So bring out your red tie.

This year’s Heart and Soul Luncheon is on February 10 at noon at the New Saint Luke Activity Center in Jackson.

For ticket information, reach out to any top lady of distinction or call Pamela Springfield, the President of the Jackson Chapter,  at (731) 298-6118.
