Century Farm Winery hosts a special cooking competition
JACKSON, Tenn.—They’ve got the beans. They’ve got the meat. One event fills bellies as well as brings awareness.
Century Farm Winery hosted their first ever Battle of the Badges Chili Cook Off charity event.
Proceeds from this tasty event went to a charity of the winner’s choice.
The entry fee was five dollars, which was paid at the door. Teams could also enter for $35.
Guests continued to fill the winery, excited to taste chili with their family and friends.
This also allows the community to get a closer look at those who serve us every day.
Participants included the Henderson County Fire Department, Jackson Police Department, Davis Wealth Services, Edward Jones, Mickie n Da Fence Boyz, and Milan and Giles.
“It’s just a way to get the community out here and get them involved and support and give back to all of those emergency service personnel,” said Michele Hughhey, Social Media and Event Coordinator at Century Farm Winery.
The Oscar Mayer® Wienermobile was also present to add a little bit more fun to the event.
