Weather Update – 10:30 p.m. Wednesday
Happy last day of Summer!
Clouds will continue to leave the area with clear skies overnight. Temperatures will start out in the lower to middle 60s again on Thursday morning. Despite the fact that there’s still heat in the forecast for the rest of the week and into the weekend, there are potentially some very big changes heading our way next week with a possibility for some areas to reach the 40s!
THURSDAY
Under mostly sunny skies, temperatures should warm up to the upper 80s and lower 90s making it warmer than it has been today. Once again, we’ll remain rain-free with the dry weather expected to continue into the weekend.
FRIDAY, THE WEEKEND, AND NEXT WEEK
High temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s under mostly sunny skies will continue into Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you have any long term projects you need to get done that require dry weather, get them done now because rain could return as early as on Sunday night!
There’s uncertainty when it comes to the forecast for next week. Some of the latest data is suggesting that some areas could dip into the 40s on Monday night. The upcoming weather system that could generate that cold in West Tennessee will likely mean some changes to our weather but what exactly those changes are is still something we’re unable to pin down, so stay with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team for the latest updates to this forecast!
Have a great night!
