Madison Co. insurance agent has license revoked

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — The Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance announced Thursday that a Pinson-based insurance agent has had his license revoked.

Officials say Barry Bynum admitted to fraudulently selling unlicensed investment securities amounting to more than $100,000.

In addition, Bynum has been barred from all securities activities and has been fined $3,000.
