Matt McConnell returns to Westview to be head football coach
We start things off with big news from Westview high school as Matt McConnell has been named their new
head football coach. Now this will be McConnell’s second stint with the school because he was also the head football coach in 2019 when he led them to a 6-5 record and the playoffs. The past four seasons he has coached Camden central where he made two playoff appearances and Now the Westview chargers
are coming off a 7-5 season and a trip to the second round of the class 3a state playoffs. He will now be stepping in place of their Old head coach Jarod Neal who resigned earlier this month.
