Overnight prostitution sting nets 5 arrests

JACKSON, Tenn. — An overnight prostitution sting by Jackson police ends with the arrests of five women.

Kayla Anderson, Taylor Carter, Michelle Crook, Leatha Gowdy and Angelique Harris all were arrested in separate incidents after an undercover officer contacted the women through online ads.

The officers met the women either at the Econolodge or the Scottish Inn where they where taken into custody.

All of the women except Gowdy remain in custody in lieu of $3,000 bonds.
