Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints gives RIFA $25K for Snack Backpack program

JACKSON, Tenn. — A local church gave a generous donation Friday to the Regional Inter-Faith Association.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints presented RIFA with a check for $25,000 for the local nonprofit’s Snack Backpack program.

The Snack Backpack program is designed to provide food for students at risk of going hungry on weekends. Learn more at RIFA’s website.

The presentation took place Friday afternoon at RIFA’s facilities on Airways Boulevard near downtown Jackson.
