Case of Lexington man, accused of child rape bound over to grand jury

HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn.-A Henderson county grand jury will decide if a Lexington man will be tried on counts of raping a young girl.

Court records show that Grady Alton Vest has been charged with four counts of rape of a child, as well as a count of assault against a woman.
The young victim told investigators the abuse happened at homes in Henderson County over several years.

According to the district attorney, the case was bound over to a grand jury set to meet in February. Vest remains jailed in lieu of $200,000 bond.
