UPDATE: JPD confirms endangered teen located
UPDATE (2/7/24): Jackson Police confirm he has been located safe.
JACKSON, Tenn.–Police are asking for your help in locating an endangered child.
According to the Jackson Police Department’s Facebook page, they’re looking for Mar’qicus Nelson, 14. He’s 5′-5″, weighs around 155 pounds and has black hair and light greenish-brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a bear on the front, black joggers and black and white Nike shoes.
Police say he is non-verbal and deaf.
Mar’qicus was last seen Tuesday afternoon around 3:30 in the area of North Parkway and North Highland Avenue near Long John Silver.
