Search underway for man in Perry County area

PERRY COUNTY, Tenn. — Law enforcement in Perry County confirm a search is underway for a man near the Tennessee River.

Tuesday evening, 101.3 WOPC in Linden reported that the Perry County Sheriffs Office is asking the public to be on the lookout for James Wray.

WOPC reports Wray was last seen in the area of Highway 412, near the Tennessee River Bridge/Spring Creek area.

We spoke with a family member Wednesday morning who confirmed Wray has not yet been located.

Wray is not believed to be armed or dangerous.
