According to the West Tennessee Drug Task Force – 28th, 29th, 30th Districts, agents conducted a traffic stop Thursday in Milan on a vehicle occupied by two adults and an infant.
The task force says a probable cause search resulted in the seizure of 20 fentanyl pills, personal use marijuana and a pill bottle containing “clean urine,” which is commonly collected from a person who does not use narcotics, in an attempt to pass a drug screen.

According to the task force, the evidence was found inside a small child’s bag containing toys, and was sitting right beside the infant.
The task force confirms both adults were arrested, one of which was currently on probation in Madison County and had an active arrest warrant.
Both were charged with felony and misdemeanor drug charges, as well as child endangerment. Additionally, one of the pair was charged with falsification of a drug test.
The task force says the infant was turned over to a relative.
