Cause of recycling center fire still unknown
CHESTER COUNTY, Tenn. — Officials say they do not yet know what caused a massive fire Wednesday at the West Tennessee Regional Recycling Hub outside Henderson.
County officials originally said they’d have details on the cause Friday afternoon, but the solid waste director says they still are waiting for investigators from the Fire Marshal’s Office to come inspect the damage.
They hope that will happen early next week.
They say this weekend’s hazardous materials drop-off has been canceled.
