Man Pleads Guilty to Shooting and Killing Woman

JACKSON, Tenn.-A Jackson man already in prison on drug and weapons charges will have his sentence extended after pleading guilty this week to a count of reckless homicide. Police said Terence Greer, 26, pleaded guilty, Monday. He faces up to four years in prison when he is sentenced next month. In July of last year, Greer shot and killed 20-year-old Kimberly Lindsay inside an apartment in Midtown Jackson. Police determined while moving a gun he had placed on a sofa, he unintentionally fired, fatally wounding Lindsay. He was free on bond at the time of the shooting.
