Memorial service honors officers killed in the line of duty
JACKSON, Tenn.– The west Tennessee concerns of police survivors, better known as the C.O.P.S organization gathered for a special balloon release Saturday.
The group consists of families who have lost loved ones in the line of duty.
Family members had a chance to write a message before sending their balloons into the air.
The group says it’s focus is to help families rebuild their life and heal after a tragic death of a loved one.
The organization serves 21 counties making up the west Tennessee region.
