Exotic Pet Expo comes to a close
JACKSON, Tenn.—Animal lovers returned to the Jackson Fairgrounds for day two of the Exotic Pet Expo.
This event allows individuals to get up close and personal with exotic pets such as kangaroos, snakes, geckos, sugar gliders, and more.
Most of the animals at the expo are available for sale, however if you wanted to just hang out with rare or exotic pets for a day, that was encouraged as well.
The event began at 10 this morning and lasted until 4 pm.
Dustin Bickerstaff, the show promoter says that this is a good opportunity for people to come and learn about animals that you may not have a chance to see otherwise.
“So we do host this event the same times every year. In February, August and October. We will be back the third weekend of August this year,” Bickerstaff said.
Admission for the event was $5.
