Elks Lodge #192 honors long-time members
JACKSON, Tenn.—The Jackson Elks Lodge #192 gathered together Friday evening to celebrate some of its members. Members who have been with the organization for 40 years or more were issued service pins.
The ceremony also honored the lodge’s longest tenured member and past exalted ruler, Jerry Griggs. He was awarded the 65 year service pin as well as PER pin, and a lodge pin.

At the ceremony several other 40 plus year members were also honored. Those members included Charlie Carroll, Bobby Meadows, Darryl Green, Rusty Schrivner, Tommy Day and Eddie Osborne.
Other forty-plus members who were not present at the event included: Ira Carroll, Randy Hayes, Ken Barr, Danny Terry, Mike Hogan, Robert Day, George Waldrop, Woody Williams, Blake Anderson, Mark Anderson, Don Marcon, Charles Arnold, Conrad Hanafee, Arthur Stanfill, and Maxie Stewart. Member Steven Stark was previously recognized.

The organization says they are in the process of awarding service pins to members with five years or more of service. Those members due a service pin are asked to stop by the lodge on any Wednesday or Friday to get those pins.
