JEA crews venture to Florida to help with hurricane relief

JACKSON, Tenn. — Crews with Jackson Energy Authority are doing their part to help those affected by hurricane damage in Florida.

JEA hurricane assistanceA total of 20 crews from various areas including Jackson are currently in New Smyrna Beach to help restore power.

In a statement, JEA say as of Sunday night power restoration was 75 percent complete, but they hope to be 90 percent complete by Wednesday.
