Jackson police seek suspects in gas station robbery
JACKSON, Tenn. — Police are investigating an early morning robbery at a local convenience store.
Officers say it happened around 12:30 a.m. at the Exxon station at the corner of Old Hickory Boulevard and North Highland Avenue.
They say they’re looking for two black men who wore covers over their faces. Police say one suspect was armed with a handgun.
Investigators say the men got away with cash and left the store on foot. The suspects were last seen running east on Old Hickory Boulevard toward the laundromat and getting into a large, silver car.
They say the store clerk was hit and suffered minor injuries.
