Local childcare center hosts live museum honoring Black History
JACKSON, Tenn. — One local childcare honors Black History Month in a precious way.
In Good Hands Learning Center had their third annual live museum Friday.
All of their classrooms, from ages one to five-years-old, dressed up as a person they admire that impacted Black history.
Director Adrianna Ferguson shared about the children’s joy for the event.
“They are extra excited,” Ferguson said. “They love bringing the people to life, they love learning the history of Black people and African Americans and just how we all work together to make America different.”
Ferguson says the mission at In Good Hands is to love and bring out the best in each and every family.
