Chickasaw State Park to host workshop for girls

CHESTER COUNTY, Tenn. — Chickasaw State Park is among three state parks across Tennessee that will host workshops for girls this fall.

The Girls Outdoors (GO!) workshop will take place Oct. 29-30 at Chickasaw State Park and will require a $30 registration fee, which will cover all meals, according to a release from the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation.

Overnight accommodations will include tent camping. Scholarships are available on a limited basis.

David Crockett State Park in Lawrenceburg and Justin P. Wilson Cumberland Trail State Park in Soddy-Daisy are the other state parks hosting girls’ workshops.
