Local non-profit celebrates 14 Years of Service to the community
JACKSON, Tenn.—A local non-profit celebrates 14 years of providing hope to those in need.
The Women of Hope organization hosted an anniversary celebration today.
The event was held at 10 this morning at the Hope Recovery Center located at 1925 Highway 18 in Medon.
It featured special performances by the Hope Center Choir, and the Women of Hope Praise Dance team.
The organization also invited those who have been assisted by the center over the past 14 years to return and give their testimonies of recovery.
Afterwards, guests were invited to attend a special meal at Hope Café & BBQ in Jackson.
Women of Hope is a faith-based recovery program that utilizes a specialized curriculum to help women overcome addiction and regain their lives.
“Well fourteen years ago there wasn’t really many places for women’s recovery and I just really saw a need,” said Marci Hendrick, Executive Director of Hope Recovery Center.
Women in the program also can find work at the Hope Café.
