Barbara Frances Soltow Morris

Barbara Frances Soltow Morris, age 66, resident of Moscow, Tennessee and wife of Michael Morris, departed this life Monday morning, February 26, 2024 at her home.

Barbara was born November 22, 1957 in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of the late John Ray Soltow and Jimmie Lou Raborn Soltow. She moved with her family at an early age to Tennessee and graduated from Barlett High School and Methodist School of Nursing. She moved to Moscow, Tennessee in 1978 and married February 23, 1991 to Michael Morris. Barbara was employed as a nurse for many years and was a member of First Baptist Church Fisherville. She enjoyed traveling and photography.

Mrs. Morris is survived by her husband of 33 years, Michael Morris of Moscow, TN; two stepdaughters, Lindsay Morris of Carmel, IN and Jennifer Knight of Carmel, IN; her sister-in-law, Debra Soltow of Byron, GA; and two grandchildren, Lyla Knight and Sophie Knight. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Alan Soltow.

Graveside Services for Mrs. Morris will be held at 3 P.M. Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64. The officiating minister will be Rev. Lynn Eagan.
