Rain Moves Out, A Dry And Warmer Weekend

Friday Morning Update 1

Weather Update Friday, March 1st 8 AM:

Friday is looking rainy to start but high pressure will slowly build in and begin to dry us out today. Most of the heavy rain has already occurred earlier this morning with some spotty drizzle and sprinkles still left over. We’ll remain mostly cloudy today and much like yesterday, highs temperatures will only make it to the lower 50s. We’ll return to much warmer weather into Saturday after a cool start and by Sunday, Temperatures will be in the mid 70s.

TODAY:

Rain will move out this morning followed by mostly cloudy skies and highs in the lower 50s. Light east southeast winds around 5 to 10 mph.

TONIGHT:

Partly cloudy tonight with fog developing overnight and lows in the mid 40’s. Light southeast winds around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight.

THE WEEKEND:

Get ready for a pretty nice weekend ahead as a ridge of high pressure will take over the weather. Fog will burn off (mix out) by mid morning tomorrow and we’ll finally return to mostly sunny skies and along with much warmer weather. Highs on Saturday will climb to 68-70 with skies becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon with southeast winds around 5 mph. Saturday night will feature patchy fog again with lows around 50 and mostly calm winds. Sunday will return to mostly sunny skies and light south winds along with highs around 76 degrees.
