New local food truck opens for business
HUNTINGDON, Tenn.– One local town now has a new eatery on wheels.
Chesoli’s Food Truck had its grand opening Friday in Huntingdon.
The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce held their ribbon cutting Friday afternoon.
The food truck business was established in memory of the late Chestine and Oliver Foulks.
Chestine was a Henry County native and Oliver a Carroll County native.
Chesoli’s serves delicious soul food…in a cup! yes a cup… Their motto is “Wanna cup? They’ll fill it up!”
Their mission is to re-create the same amazing memory they shared with their family and share them with the community.
“We love comradery with our friends and so we got together on those dinners on Sunday nights and we brought everyone together and so that’s what we continue to do here. We’ve actually been going about 6 months. We started out with two chairs and tables and now we have a food truck so it’s truly truly a blessing,” said Ryan Brooks, creative media manager, Chesoli’s Food Truck.
Chesoli’s Food Truck is open Wednesdays and Fridays from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
