Step into the glitz and glamour of the Roaring Twenties at the 3rd annual Fur Ball

PRESS RELEASE FROM CITY OF JACKSON:

JACKSON, Tenn. – Prepare to be transported back to the era of flappers and jazz as Jackson Animal Care Center (JACC) invites you to the 3rd Annual Fur Ball, a charismatic soirée inspired by  the Roaring Twenties. Taking place on April 13, 2024, this glamorous event promises an  unforgettable night of Gatsby extravagance.

“We are excited to offer such a unique experience at the brand-new event venue, The Dabney,  Venue & Events, this year at the Fur Ball,” said Whitney Owen, Jackson Animal Care Center  Director. “Guests will be able to step into the elegance of the Roaring Twenties while making a  meaningful impact on the lives of animals. Make sure to wear your Gatsby glam, and join us for  a night of sophistication, generosity, and a little bit of secret revelry.”

Immerse yourself in the allure of the 1920s at the Fur Ball, featuring sumptuous heavy hors  d’oeuvres, a lively dance floor with a sensational DJ, and the unforgettable charming pet parade  where our four-legged friends will steal the spotlight.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there. Attendees are invited to partake in a Whiskey Pull,  reminiscent of the Prohibition era, for a chance to savor exquisite spirits. For those seeking an  extra dash of exclusivity, try your luck with our bruiser at the hidden entrance to the speakeasy  area, offering an underground prohibition vibe that’s inevitably the bee’s knees. As you indulge  in the festivities, don’t forget to visit the cigar bar for a taste of sophistication, perfectly  complementing the roaring twenties ambiance. This event is sure to be the cat’s meow!

Proceeds from the Fur Ball will directly benefit the Jackson Animal Care Center, supporting their  mission of providing shelter, medical care, and love to animals in need.
