Today, the school held a career fair in the elementary school’s cafetorium.

There were more than 20 professionals on campus to share with students about various jobs.

“As a stem school, we want to share with kids all different kinds of careers. Maybe it’s a career where you just go to an apprenticeship or maybe your career may have a four year degree or all the different kinds of schooling they can get,” said Jeanna Rice, Director of Elementary at JCS.

Rice says the aim is to show students that the world is open wide with career possibilities.
