Sherry Leigh May

Sherry Leigh May, age 57, resident of Somerville, Tennessee, departed this life Sunday evening, March 10, 2024 at her home.

Sherry was born August 12, 1966 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Nellie Elaine Haden May and the late Bill Ray May. She moved with her family at an early age to Tennessee and graduated from Bartlett High School. She had been a resident of Somerville since 1985 and was employed as a lab technician at LabCorp. Sherry enjoyed being with her friends, fishing and collecting candles.

Sherry is survived by her daughter, Chelsea Wolfe; two sons, Derek May and Chad Wolfe (Lauren); her mother, Nellie May; her sister, Marla Earnest (Barry); her grandson, Tyler May; her niece, Ella Earnest; and two nephews, Cooper Earnest and Jay Earnest. She also leaves her best friends, Modesty Perkins, Patricia Click, Megan Kelley and Angie Beavers. She was preceded in death by one of her best friends, Gwen Roe.
