Revved up for fun! 13th Annual Motor Mania Car Show returns to Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn.—One local event has car and truck enthusiasts revved up for fun!
The 13th Annual Thomas Media Motor Mania Car Show took place today at Jackson Fairgrounds Park. The event began at 9 this morning and lasted until 4 this afternoon.
This family fun event offered the opportunity to see lots of custom, classic, imported, and exotic vehicles, including cars, trucks, SUVs, and even motorcycles. Visitors could even see “Mater” and “McQueen” from the animated film “Cars.”
Entries of the show were judged in several categories for a chance to take home a trophy. Categories included Top 20 cars or trucks, Best of Show, Top 5 SUVs, Most Unique, Best Modern, Classic, and Overall winner.
The event also featured many vendors and a variety of delicious food options too.
Admission for the show was five dollars and kids under 5 were free to enter.
“As soon as people show up this morning, they’re able to enter their car in to possibly win a trophy at the end of the day. Our guys even start signing up to come right after Christmas and we usually fill up with around 125 vehicles,” said Katie Doherty, Event Coordinator, Thomas Media.
The first 300 kids through the doors even received a free Hot Wheels toy.
This event was made possible not only by Thomas Media Partners but also by Bronson’s Auto Boutique, Vandiver Equipment and Gene Langley Ford in Humboldt.
