2 arrested after WTDTF seizes meth, fentanyl, LSD in Gibson County
GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — Two people were arrested after authorities seized numerous drugs during the search of a home.
According to the West Tennessee Drug Task Force – 28th, 29th, 30th Districts, authorities executed a search warrant during the early hours of Monday morning at a home on Spruce Lane in Gibson County.
Agents from the 28th District out of Humboldt were joined by Gibson County Sheriff’s Department SWAT.
According to the task force, drugs seized include:
- 285 “dirty 30” fentanyl pills
- More than an ounce of methamphetamine
- 20 “hits” of LSD (Lysergic Acid Diethylamide)
The task force says $2,624 in suspected drug proceeds was also seized in the search.
Authorities confirm one male and one female were arrested, and they are facing charges of manufacturing/selling/delivering schedule I, two counts of schedule II controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The identities of those individuals have not been confirmed at this time.
The WTDTF shared that this case is being prosecuted by The Office of the District Attorney General, 28th Judicial District, Frederick Agee.
