Sanford Hill Baptist Church hosts Easter hunt with unique twist

HENDERSON, Tenn. — One church chose to step outside the box for their Easter egg hunt this year.

Sanford Hill Baptist Church held their annual Easter egg hunt this afternoon.

Hayley Cloud, the Event Organizer said for this year’s event, they wanted to do something cool and interesting for the kids.

So, while most Easter egg hunts are held during the day, this hunt was held at dusk.

The Easter eggs glowed in the dark, allowing for an interesting spin on a traditional hunt.

“We’re just excited that we get to have all the kids here. It’s so much fun for them but it’s also fun for us. Getting to see them smiling and the laughter, and our lesson has been about shining God’s light so that’s just what we’re here to teach them,” said Cloud.

This event was open to all.
