JMC Library holds annual “Boo Bash”

JACKSON, Tenn.- Halloween spirits were “spooktacular”, Thursday at the Jackson-Madison County Library, where hundreds attended the annual “Boo Bash.”

The Halloween fun event brought out kids of all ages. The afternoon included games, food and a costume contest with prizes for kids, teens and adults.

Organizers said the “Boo Bash” gave everyone who attended the chance to get into the Halloween spirit.

“I love that people want to come to the library and have a good time. I love that they want to participate in our events. It brings the community together here,” said Zoe Pride, manager of the Jackson-Madison County Library.

If you missed the “Boo Bash Thursday, the library is partnering with Woodstock Bakery on the Square with a showing of the movie, “Guardians of the Galaxy”, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in downtown Jackson.
