2 arrested after LSD, meth, marijuana found in home search

WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — Two men were arrested after a search warrant led to the discovery of numerous drugs.

According to the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department, Kelly Ray Turnbow and Randy Allen Ellis were taken into custody Tuesday.

The Sheriff’s Department says authorities served a narcotics search warrant at 580 McAdams Road in McKenzie, which is in Weakley County.

Sheriff’s Deputies were assisted by agents with the 27th Judicial Drug Task Force, 24th Judicial Drug Task Force, the TBI and the TN Dangerous Drug Task Force.

The department says the search resulted in the discovery of multiple LSD strips, methamphetamine, marijuana, and U.S. currency believed to be drug proceeds.

Both men face charges of possession schedule I, possession of schedule II, and possession drug paraphernalia.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, both Turnbow and Ellis are currently on TN State probation.

Records available online indicate both currently remain in custody at the Weakley County jail.
