Children and Teen Theatre revives the Cinderella story for 50th anniversary
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Children and Teen Theatre is preparing for Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella.

The performances are June 13th through the 15th.
Open auditions for the show are April 8th and 9th at the Ned.
Those auditioning are expected to perform a short one-minute selection of a song.
They’ll also be asked to read sections from the script, as well as dance.
Director of the Ned, David McCall, shares more.
“As it turns out, 50 years ago this year, the Children and Teen Theatre in Jackson, with the help of the Jackson Theatre Guild, brought the very first production that was geared towards the kids and it was Cinderella so how fitting to do, in our 50th anniversary, that musical and bring it back to the stage,” said McCall.
