‘Hee-Haw’ returns to McNairy County High School

SELMER, Tenn. — Get ready for a family-friendly show featuring country songs and comedy skits.

It mirrors that of the old television show ‘Hee-Haw’ that featured country music singers, many from the Grand Ole Opry.

They’re looking for local businesses who wish to gain some local advertising, as well as anyone who wishes to make donations in memory or in honor of a loved one, through tax deductible donations to the show.

The show is set to take place Thursday, April 11th, through Saturday, April 13th.

All money raised from this show goes to the American Cancer Society.

“This has been going on in McNairy County now for 35 years, the show has been and, in that timespan, from the late 80s to present, we have managed to raise a little more than 750 thousand dollars for the American Cancer Society,” said James McNeil, who plays the character Lavern in Hee Haw.

Showtime starts at 6:30 at the McNairy County High School‘s Little Theatre.
