Jackson Ballroom Club hosts retro dance night
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Ballroom Dance Club decided to bring back retro tees and neon leg warmers for a night of epic fun.
The dance club decided to host a dance party in honor of the 70’s and 80’s, periods revered for their acclaimed music.
Residents were able to dance the night away at the grooviest event in town.
It took place at the VFW on Airways.
“We’ll just be having some of the best music from the 70s and 80s to do different things; West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, Hussle, even Foxtrot and Waltz to 70s and 80s music,” said Tonya Hartig, President of the Jackson Ballroom Dance Club.
For the first 30 minutes of the event, the ballroom dance club gave free lessons for attendees.
