Police-involved crash slows rush hour traffic in East Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — An investigation into a late afternoon crash that occurred today, April 9, in East Jackson is ongoing.

According to investigators with the Jackson Police Department, the crash happened around 4:20 p.m. along a stretch of North Parkway just to the East of North Royal Street.

When our crew arrived just before 5 p.m. they found two vehicles involved, one of them being a Jackson Police Cruiser and a Ford Mustang.

According to Jackson Police, there were injuries sustained to occupants of both vehicles, however they appear to be non life-threatening.

This incident is still under investigation by JPD and there are no further updates at this time.
