Lambuth talks about music program, speaks on upcoming concerts
JACKSON, Tenn. — Today’s rotary program in Downtown Jackson involved a presentation from the University of Memphis at Lambuth’s Music Department.
University of Memphis at Lambuth’s Associate Professor of Practice in Music and Entertainment, Jeremy Tubbs, shared about the music program at Lambuth.
Offered only at the Lambuth campus, the Music and Entertainment Degree is an interdisciplinary program that involves music, technology and business.
Dr. Tubbs highlighted the students and teaching professionals.
He also spoke on upcoming concerts.
“We have several concerts coming up, concert tomorrow night, Thursday night at seven o’ clock in the HPAC theater, which is across from the planetarium at the Lambuth campus. It is a pop concert, it is free. It should be fantastic, we are looking forward to that,” said Dr. Tubbs.

Niles Reddick, Dean of UofM at Lambuth, who was there to introduce this program, will be retiring at the beginning of June.
