Hub City pickleball tournament welcomes all

JACKSON, Tenn. — Get ready for a fun weekend of intense competition.

The Hub City Spring Showdown Pickleball Tournament, hosted by Hub City Picklers, will be held from Friday, April 26th through Sunday, April 28th at Conger Park.

It is presented by Knott’s Fine Foods.

Organizers say the number of players in Jackson has grown in recent years and they want to give players in surrounding areas the opportunity to compete and experience what the city of Jackson has to offer.

“It is for all ages and all athletic abilities. You can be 62 years old and start to play pickleball and be good at it. It’s different from other sports and that some are harder to get into at certain ages,” said Julie Wigger, Owner and Director of Hub City Picklers

Each day offers a new match with singles, doubles, and mixed-doubles competitions.
