Local leaders discuss strategies for enhancing workplace dynamics

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — Leaders of Humboldt and Gibson County gather this afternoon for an educational seminar.

Jackson State Community College met with business leaders in Gibson county.

For the past two years, young adults from Generation Zoomers or ‘Gen z’ have entered the workspace.

With this added generation, it has made the work space more diverse.

This conversation was important for leaders to learn ways to improve the workspace as a cohesive space.

One skill they shared was communication and using each person’s strength to better the company.

“Well it’s about how we can better get along. How we can better communicate in the workplace and leverage our differences and make it a better work environment,” said John McCommon, Director of Workforce Solutions at Jackson State Community College.

This is one of two seminars they have each year.
