Downtown Savannah welcomes Leading Ladies Luncheon

SAVANNAH, Tenn. — The first inaugural Leading Ladies Luncheon, hosted by the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce, took place today on April 11.

The event took place at the venue on Main Street in Downtown Savannah.

Organizers say the goal of the luncheon is to bring together all ladies who are leaders in Hardin County.

“I feel like we all go through things in life that you know we just didn’t really plan for or expect and it’s tough enough when your going through it by yourself but certainly want to make sure that we have a community to rely on and re-anchor with each other,” said Delaney Timberman, Executive Director for the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce.

Organizers said this was a chance to get together, have conversations, and meet people you can rely on.

The event included lunch, a guest speaker and a gift exchange among business owners.

“Because who do you do business with or communicate better than with the people you know and trust,” said Timberman.

The pillars by which the Leading Ladies stand for are connection, collaboration, and community.

“We just really want to start fostering those relationships across our county and beyond,” said Timberman.

The idea of this women-led gathering arose from the Administrative Assistants Luncheon and the goal to rebrand and expand that into a larger network of women.
