Lane College students partner with Co-Create Africa
JACKSON, Tenn. — One local college has a presentation for their final assignment that helps other students internationally.
Lane College communication-media students worked on group projects that help ‘Co-Create Africa’.
Co-Create Africa is an organization that highlights education and sharing the truth of the struggles their students face.
Students of Lane were able to create video, social media posts, and papers to help with informing others about Co-Create Africa.
“Got to meet different people. The creator of the organization was nice and helpful to everybody giving us time and input on everything we did. Feedback that really helped us sorta figure out which direction to go in,” said Randy Smith, Student at Lane College.
While doing this, students like Smith were able to learn public speaking, networking skills and the use of mass media to share news.
